Ever watch the History Channel or Discovery Channel and see the beautiful 3D models showing how things might have looked at a certain period of time? Well one of the large contributors to exhibits, publications, and tv stations is the work done at Reconstructions. Reconstructions is a non-profit organization that has a mission to provide the most accurate computer generated recreations and distribute it freely. The site has many exhibits on its website such as The Acropolis of Athens & The Solar Temple of Nuiserre.

Egyptian Art: The Metropolitan Museum of Art Saturday, Aug 18 2007 

The Metropolitan Museum of Art features an Egyptian Art that consists of over 50,000 objects from the Paleolithic to the Roman period. Over 50% of the collection was discovered by the museum’s archaeological effort in Egypt as a response to the public’s interest to ancient Egypt. The official web site also features collection highlights that includes 50 specially selected works of art.
